1 will return to classes.
Team 2 will warm
up our visitors with the Alogrithm taiso and then Y5/6’s will return to class. Y8’s to remain in the hall and introduce themselves in Japanese and listen
to their hosts introduce themselves in English. Chars will be set up into 7
groups.
10.15 Y8’s
will bring their students to your class for introductions and cultural
exchange. Group 1 - R1, Group 2 - R2, Group 3 - R3, Group 4 – R9, Group 5 - R5,
Group 6 – R6, Group 7 – R7

yourself in Japanese and listen to their self- introduction.Task on the day: Demonstrate hospitality towards our
visitors.
Take
them to each class and listen to Ohau students introductions and cultural
exchange.
Speak slowly in English but quickly in Japanese use gestures if you have
to.
Learn a new game or listen to what they are trying to teach you.
Return to the hall for morning tea and lunch with your group. Play
Dodge-ball against them
Follow rotations by listening to the bell. Be polite.
1.40. Return to the hall for a final presentation by
the Principal.
Photos will be taken
by Mrs Frost
Souvenirs will be
handed out per group by Ohau students.
1.55 Lead our new friends out
to the front gate to farewell them as they leave on the bus.

something new!
